It can be easily installed at the top and bottom of stairways, doorways, hallways, both indoors and outdoors. The installation components included stainless steel screws, catch mounts, wall spacers for skirting boards or baseboards, and installation guide templates.

For proper installation, the retractable gate must be fitted between rigid surfaces such as plasterboard, timber, or hardwall. The surfaces should be structurally sound, and the gate must be installed tightly and flatly on walls, door frames, or posts. The sturdy and durable mesh barrier retracts when not in use, maximizing space efficiency.

This retractable gate serves as both an infant gate and a pet gate, suitable for children aged 6-24 months or small to medium-sized pets. It is hardware-mounted, requiring a 2.5mm pilot hole for timber surfaces and a 5mm hole for hardwall installation. An additional set of spare mounting brackets is included for convenient relocation.

The gate can be adjusted to fit your specific needs, with the mesh fully retractable when not in use. It features a one-handed operation for easy opening and closing – simply push and turn clockwise to unlock, grasp the handle to pull and hook onto catches, then push and turn counter-clockwise to lock.
